Put God First and Trust Him With Everything Else

Your life becomes properly ordered when seeking God takes priority over being consumed by everything you need to handle, accomplish, or figure out. Jesus spoke these words while addressing worry about everyday necessities, reminding you that your needs matter to God but should not become the controlling focus of your heart. Seeking His kingdom first means allowing what matters to Him to shape your priorities, decisions, desires, and the way you live. It also means pursuing what is right in His sight instead of allowing pressure or worry to determine your choices. As you deepen your personal relationship with God, make time with Him more than something you fit around everything else. Seek His direction before rushing toward your own solutions, and trust Him with the needs that can so easily occupy your thoughts. Putting God first does not mean ignoring your responsibilities; it means handling them from a place of trust rather than allowing them to compete with Him for first place in your life. Give God your first attention, pursue what matters to Him, and trust Him with everything you are tempted to worry about.
But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness,
and all these things shall be added to you.
Matthew 6:33 NKJV
