The Wiser You Become, the More You Recognize Your Need for God

Wisdom is one of the greatest gifts you can pursue, and God has made it clear where true wisdom begins. It starts with recognizing His holiness, respecting His authority, and understanding that His ways are greater than your own. Having a healthy fear of the Lord does not mean being afraid to approach Him; it means honoring Him enough to take His instructions seriously, even when they challenge your personal opinions or desires. You may have years of experience, valuable knowledge, and the ability to make independent decisions, but none of those things should replace your dependence on God's wisdom. As you deepen your personal relationship with God, become intentional about learning His character through Scripture and allowing what you discover to influence your perspective. Through Jesus Christ, you have the opportunity to know God personally and develop a greater understanding of what it means to live in a way that pleases Him. Rather than relying solely on what seems logical or convenient, invite His wisdom into your decisions and remain willing to follow His direction. True wisdom is not simply knowing more about life; it is knowing God, honoring His authority, and allowing His truth to guide the way you live.

“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.”

Proverbs 9:10 NIV
