God desires to transform your heart because everything you say and do flows from what you allow to take root within it. When your heart is filled with His truth, His peace, and His love, your words become a source of encouragement, wisdom, and life to those around you. Because of Jesus, you are not defined by your past or your imperfections; God is continually renewing you from the inside out as you surrender every area of your life to Him. As you deepen your personal relationship with God, the Holy Spirit will reveal areas that need His transforming work while producing a heart that reflects the character of Christ more each day. Guard what you allow into your heart, and intentionally fill your mind with God's Word, because what takes root within you will ultimately be revealed through your words and actions. Be encouraged, knowing that as God shapes your heart, He is also shaping your life to become a greater reflection of His goodness, His grace, and His love.

A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.

Luke 6:45 NIV
