What Tried to Diminish You Cannot Decide Your Worth

What has happened to you does not have the authority to determine the value of your life or the dignity God has given you. Seasons of opposition, rejection, or adversity can leave you feeling diminished, especially when others misunderstand you or circumstances seem to contradict what you know about God’s faithfulness. Yet you can trust Him with both your reputation and your restoration. Jesus endured rejection, false accusations, and public humiliation without allowing any of it to change who He knew Himself to be or interfere with His obedience to the Father. As you deepen your personal relationship with God, resist the pressure to prove yourself, defend yourself at every turn, or seek validation from people. Allow God to determine how your story moves forward. He is able to restore honor where you have experienced humiliation and bring comfort to places that have carried sorrow. What others have diminished, God is able to honor; where life has brought sorrow, His comfort can meet you again.
You will increase my honor
and comfort me once more.
