When You Live by God’s Truth, You Don’t Have to Hide

There is freedom in living a life where you do not feel the need to hide your choices from God or conceal areas you know are not pleasing to Him. When His Word shapes what you believe and how you live, you become more willing to acknowledge what is right and address what needs to change. Jesus invites you to live openly before God, allowing what He teaches to influence not only what you believe but also the decisions you make each day. As you deepen your personal relationship with God, become willing to let His Word reach every area of your life, including the places that may be uncomfortable to examine. Living in the light does not mean you will never make a mistake; it means you are willing to be honest before God, receive His correction, and allow Him to change what needs to change. Your goal is not to appear righteous before people but to live with integrity before Him, knowing that every part of your life is already within His sight. When God’s Word guides the way you live, you do not have to hide what you are doing—you can live openly before Him with a heart that desires to please Him.
But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light,
so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.
