You Don't Have to Figure Out Tomorrow's Words Today
You can face what lies ahead without carrying the pressure of having every word and every response figured out beforehand. Jesus reminds you that you do not have to worry ahead of time about what you will say in difficult situations because He can give you the wisdom and words you need when the moment comes. That same truth encourages you to release the exhausting habit of mentally rehearsing every possible outcome and trust God with what you cannot yet control. As you deepen your personal relationship with God, you will learn to depend more on His wisdom and less on your own ability to prepare for every possibility. Allow the Holy Spirit to quiet anxious thoughts and help you remain attentive to God's direction when the moment arrives. You do not have to solve tomorrow's situations today. Walk forward with peace, knowing that God can give you the wisdom, courage, and words you need at exactly the right time.
But make up your mind not to worry beforehand how you will defend yourselves.
