You Never Have to Be Ashamed of Needing God’s Help
There is freedom in knowing that you never have to pretend you can handle everything on your own. Turning to God for help is not a sign of weakness; it is an expression of trust that recognizes where your true help comes from. When circumstances leave you uncertain, burdened, or unable to see the way forward, you can look to Him knowing that seeking His help will never leave you ashamed for placing your hope in Him. Jesus repeatedly welcomed people who came to Him with needs they could not solve themselves, showing compassion rather than turning them away. As you deepen your personal relationship with God, become increasingly comfortable bringing Him the places where you need wisdom, strength, provision, or direction. You do not have to wait until you have exhausted every other option before looking to Him. Let seeking God become your first response, trusting that His presence can bring hope to your heart even while you are waiting for circumstances to change. You will never have to regret looking to God for the help only He can give.
Those who go to him for help are happy,and they are never disgraced.
