Never underestimate what a few sincere words of encouragement can do for someone who is struggling to keep going. God can use your voice to bring comfort to a discouraged heart, restore hope when someone feels defeated, and give strength to a person who feels as though they cannot take another step. Jesus spoke words that brought hope, truth, healing, and courage to people in moments when they needed it most, showing you how powerful words can be when they are spoken with compassion and purpose. As you deepen your personal relationship with God, ask Him for the wisdom to recognize when someone needs encouragement and the right words to speak when that moment comes. You may not be able to change someone's circumstances, but what you say can remind them that they are seen, supported, and not alone. Be intentional with your words today. What seems like a simple word of encouragement to you could be exactly what God uses to help someone find the strength to stand again.
Your words have comforted those who fell,
and you have strengthened those who could not stand.
