Jesus Has Given You Kingdom Purpose—Live With His Authority
You are called to live with a clear understanding that Jesus has given His followers both kingdom responsibility and authority. The keys of the kingdom are not about having personal power to make heaven agree with whatever you decide; they point to the authority Christ gives to carry out His purposes according to His truth. What you believe, proclaim, permit, and stand against should therefore be shaped by God’s Word rather than personal preference or emotion. Jesus is the source of this authority, which means it must always be exercised in submission to Him and in agreement with His will. As you deepen your personal relationship with God, become more intentional about knowing His Word so you can recognize what reflects His kingdom and what does not. You do not have to live spiritually uncertain, intimidated, or unaware of the responsibility Christ has entrusted to His people. The authority belongs to Jesus, and when your life is submitted to Him, you can confidently stand for what agrees with His kingdom.
“And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”
Matthew 16:19 NKJV
