Waiting on God Is Not Wasted Time—He Is Strengthening You in It

Waiting on God requires courage because there will be moments when moving ahead on your own feels easier than continuing to trust what you cannot see. You may want an answer, a change, clear direction, or simply some indication that the season you are in is moving forward, but waiting does not mean God has left you without help in the meantime. He can strengthen your heart while the circumstances around you remain unchanged, giving you what you need to stay steady instead of allowing impatience or discouragement to determine your next move. Jesus showed complete dependence on God’s timing, never allowing pressure from people or circumstances to rush Him outside of what God had appointed. As you deepen your personal relationship with God, allow waiting to become a place where your trust grows stronger and your courage becomes less dependent on immediate results. You do not have to force what God has not yet opened or abandon hope because the answer has not arrived. The wait may require courage, but you are not waiting without help—God is strengthening your heart as you continue to trust Him.

Wait on the Lord;

Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart;

Wait, I say, on the Lord!

Psalm 27:14 NKJV
