You’ve Obeyed God—Now Don’t Give Up in the Waiting

There are times when obedience is only the beginning, and perseverance is what carries you through the space between doing what God has asked and seeing what He has promised. You may have taken the step, followed His direction, remained faithful, and still find yourself waiting for something to change. That space can become discouraging when you expected obedience to produce immediate results, but a delay does not make your faithfulness meaningless. Jesus demonstrated endurance by remaining committed to God’s will even when obedience required patience, suffering, and trust beyond the immediate moment. As you deepen your personal relationship with God, resist the temptation to abandon what He has instructed simply because you have not seen the outcome yet. Continue doing what you know is right, allow patience to steady you, and trust God with the timing of what comes next. You have come too far in obedience to let the waiting convince you to give up; remain faithful and trust God to fulfill what He has promised according to His will.

You must be willing to wait without giving up.

After you have done what God wants you to do,

God will give you what He promised you.

Hebrews 10:36 NLV
